Living in Mexico for a year at the age of sixteen had a profound effect on Nina Métayer's life. Her country of heart inspired this creation, whose delicate motif evokes the Temple of the Quetzalcóatl, one of the pyramids of Teotihuacan, not far from Puebla, where she lived. She sculpted with her hand from the raw material of a chocolate block, the two original feathers used to make the molds. With this Yule log of character that invites travel, Nina also shares those flavors she discovered in Mexico and loves so much: the corn flour of tortillas; the power of chocolate; the smoky notes of chipotle pepper; the vivacity and freshness of lime.
